Share of Search

This KPI shows the user the position of their offers in the first three pages of search results of sellers.

All the keywords used to get those results are to be chosen beforehand. They can then be refined by profile by using the keyword selector at the top of the KPI page.

Insights section#

There is only one Insight defined but it is configurable: The Share of Search distribution.

The user can choose to display this distribution by seller or by brand, as well as displaying the score of each offer, the number of offers or the coverage (percentage) of offers displayed on each page.

Details#

Sellers#

The user can see:

  • Each seller’s name
  • The seller Share of Search score (Popup)
  • The number of keywords where results were found

The sellers are sorted by default by Share of Search score descending.

Keywords#

The user can see:

  • Each keyword
  • The keyword Share of Search score (Popup)
  • The number of sellers in which the keyword returned results
  • The number of offers found
  • A distribution of offers found per page

The keywords are sorted by default by Share of Search score descending.

Brands#

The user can see:

  • Each brand’s name
  • The brand Share of Search score (Popup)
  • The number of sellers
  • The number of keywords
  • A quartile graph button (Popup)

Top 10 Spots#

This if found under the Brands tab.

The user can see the distribution by rank of all found offers, by brand.

The user can refine the sellers and keywords from which the offers are pulled, as well as changing which brands are displayed.

The view also offers an aggregated result view by brand when selecting "Summary view” on the top right.

The graph results can be refined using the same filters (Sellers, Keywords and Brands).

Seller#

The user can see:

  • Each keyword used
  • The brand name
  • The page number
  • The Share of Search score

The lines are sorted by Share of Search score descending.

Upon clicking the chevron on the left side of a row,

The user can then see:

  • The found offers name
  • Their position

The user can export the data presented here by clicking the Excel button at the top.

The export contains:

  • The keyword on which the offer was found
  • The brand name
  • The page number
  • The Share of Search score for this brand/seller/keyword combination
  • The offer name
  • The offer position on the page

  • Each brand name
  • The seller name
  • The page number
  • The Share of Search score

Brand quartiles graph#

The user can see the distribution of a brand’s offers by page and by quartile.

The first quartile is the percentage of offers in the top 25% results on a page, the second quartile is the percentage of offers between the top 25% and the top 50% results on a page and so on.
